When the market becomes a challenge for our Pharma customers, it’s time to get our heads together & find solutions for our clients. Red Sea crisis triggered 4 reefer containers consisting of temperature-controlled pharma cargo shipped from Europe to middle east by customer, were forced to discharge the containers in Colombo port. To prevent the stock from going out of the market, MAC G. F Lanka provided multimodal SEA – AIR solution to move 36 tons of temperature-controlled cargo from Colombo to Middle East. Our aim as always is to exceed customer expectations, to assist our client to keep moving their supply chain and meeting specific deadlines. Our SEA-AIR solution via Colombo ensured a timely arrival at destination by re-working the pharma consignment to air lift from Colombo to Middle East while meeting GDP standards. This is yet another great example of MAC G.F Lanka teams collaborative efforts in exceeding customer expectations in cold chain logistics.
