Andre Fernando, Managing Director of MAC Holdings Private Limited, has been appointed Chairman of the Sri Lanka Logistics & Freight Forwarders Association (SLFFA), effective 6 March 2026.
Andre Fernando previously served as Vice Chairman of the Association and brings more than three decades of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. His appointment marks a significant leadership step for the organization as Sri Lanka’s logistics sector continues to evolve in response to global supply chain shifts and growing regional trade opportunities.
SLFFA expressed appreciation to outgoing Chairman Channa Gunawardena for his service and contributions to strengthening the Association’s role within the country’s trade and logistics ecosystem.
MAC extends its congratulations to Andre Fernando on his appointment, noting that his leadership and extensive industry experience will contribute positively to the continued growth and development of Sri Lanka’s logistics sector.
