Functions as the CEO of Shipping / Freight & Logistics sectors of MAC Holdings Pvt Ltd, Sujeeva is responsible for overall activities of Shipping and Logistics sectors including managing and business improvement locally and regionally.
Prior joining MAC, Sujeeva was attached to world’s third largest Liner Shipping Group CMA CGM France with a tenure of almost 22 long years. His last assignment was to function as Country General Manager in Philippines and prior to that he was the Managing Director of CMA CGM in Bangladesh. He is well experienced in all aspects of Liner Shipping business with global exposure and has worked in five countries including UAE in Middle East, Angola in West Africa and Lae in Papua New Guinea. Sujeeva commenced his career with very humble beginning when embark in to field of Shipping three decades back as a Shipping Trainee in Ceylon Shipping Lines, a fully subsidiary of national carrier Ceylon Shipping Corporations. Subsequently he worked for local agencies managed DSR Lines, Sea Consortium feeder line and UASC prior to his overseas assignment in PNG early 1992. His Progress in his career demonstrates his result orientation and team management.
